Suddenly, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 10, 1996, Kathryn Pawelko of Nelson St., Cambridge in her 80th year. So much loved and so sadly missed by her daughter Diane and her son-in-law Kenneth Moyes of Cambridge. Gone to be at rest with her dear son Wayne, who predeceased her in 1957. Forever remembered by her granddaughters Deborah Marchand and Shelley Bagley and their husbands Serge Marchand and Andrew Bagley. Sadly missed by her four very special great-grandchildren, Zachary, Meghan and Nicholas Marchand and Brandon Bagley. Dearly remembered by her sister Josephine Golka of Cambridge, and brothers John Pawelko of Port Elgin and Harry Powell and his wife Catherine of Midland and a sister-in-law Stella Pawelko. Also survived by her estranged husband Stan Baranski of Kitchener. Predeceased by her father Michael Pawelko and her mother Anna (Kopey), her brother Frank Pawelko, and a sister-in-law Mary Pawelko. Mrs. Baranski was born in Preston and was a lifelong resident, she was a member of St. Clements RC Church, a member of CWL and Past President of the Scout and guide Mothers and she was employed with CP Rail until her retirement. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge on Monday (today) from 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clements RC Church, 745 Duke St., Cambridge on Wednesday, February 14, 1996 at 11: 00 am. Interment St. Clements Cemetery, Cambridge. Parish Prayers will be recited at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 8: 30 pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. “Her love of life and the enjoyment of her family will give us strength to carry on without her.”
