  O’ROURKE, WILLIAM PATRICK A former resident of Preston, at Detroit, on Tuesday, May 26, 1953, in his 87th year. He had been residing with his son in Detroit following the death of his wife, Catherine Poutler in Preston in 1935. While living in Preston, he was a member of St. Clement’s Roman Church. Surviving is a son, William S. O’Rourke in Detroit; a sister, Mrs. Catherine Watt of Guelph; and a brother, John O’Rourke of Columbus, Ohio. Funeral mass at the Church of the Nativity in Detroit on Thursday morning. His body rested at the Stager-Pass Ltd. Funeral Home, Preston from 10 a. m. on Friday. Rev. P. J. Meyer, pastor of St. Clement’s Roman Catholic Church offered prayers at the funeral home on Saturday at 10: 30 a. m. and officiated at the interment service in St. Clement’s Cemetery. Pallbearers: Andrew Pautler, O. L. Kummer, C. J. Weiler, William Jaglowitz, J. Cesanek and P. O’Callahan, all of Preston.
