- JOSEPH HALICKI
PRESTON, Jan 12 -- Joseph Halicki, 46, of 6, Nelson street, Preston, died at St Joseph's Hospital, Guelph, yesterday. Desceased was born in Poland. He came to Canada 26 years ago. Mr. Halicki was employed as a moulder at Shantz foundry. He was a member of the moulder's union, manager of the Ukrainian People's Home, Preston and head of the relief association of that institution. Mr. Halicki was also a member of St. Clements R.C. church. Surviving are his widow, one son, Stephen one daughter, Anna, both of Preston, two brothers, Stephen of Preston and Michael of Poland, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Nester, Stratford and Rose of Poland. Funeral will be held from the residence on Friday morning to St. Clement's church at 9 a.m. with interment in the R.C. Cemetery. Remains will be at the residence.
