    • Mrs. Anastasia Halicki

      PRESTON — Mrs. Anastasia Halicki, 65, of 6 Nelson St., Preston, died Saturday at South Waterloo Hospital, Galt, following a two-day illness. Born in the Ukraine, she came to live in Preston in 1913 and has resided here since. She was the former Anastasia (Elsie) Burtnoski, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Burtnoski. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Preston. Her husband died in 1939. Surviving are one son, Stephen of Preston; one daughter, Mrs. Frank (Ann) Rogers of Preston; one sister, Pauline in Europe; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The body will be at the Maurice J. O'Brien Funeral Home here until Tuesday at 9: 30 a.m. Requiem high mass will be held at St. Mary's Church Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Clement's RC Cemetery, Preston.
