  Mrs. Carl Spalding Citizens of Preston were shocked to learn of the death of Christina Hodgson, wife of Carl Spalding, at her home on Duke and Argyle streets, last night at 11.45 o'clock. Besides her husband there survive one son Bobby, ago six and an infant daughter, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. S. Hodgson, town, three brothers, Harold and Michael of Preston and Harry of Allandale; four sisters, Mrs. Albert Kinzel, Preston, Mrs. W. McCake, Bolton, Mrs. Herbert Hesch of Buffalo and Mrs. M. R. Grieve of Toronto. The funeral service will be held, Saturday morning at nine o'clock from St. Clement's R. C. church to the Speedsville Cemetery. Rev. Father P. J. Meyer will officate.
