Mr. Isaac Witmer on the Huron road has just received the sad news from Michigan of the death of his brother, Joseph. The deceased was at the time engaged in winding up a beef carcass or elevating it by means of a rack-lifter, and by some means or other it came down, crushing Mr. Witmer under its weight, who died soon after.
