  Mrs. Julia Carney PRESTON—Mrs. Julia Marie Carney, 435 Lowther St., died in St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, early today. She was 53 and had spent most of her life here. She attended St. Clements RC Church and was a member of the Catholic Women's League and the Altar Society. Her husband, Joseph F. Carney, died last May. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. J. Pawelko, Preston: a son, Frank Carney and a daughter, Mrs. Peter (Marguerite) Worden, both of Preston. There are three brothers, Peter, Preston; Alex, Galt; Stephen, Detroit and two sisters, Mrs. Jack (Isabel) Liscombe, Galt and Mrs. Paul (Helen) Harvey, Preston and four grandchildren. Funeral will be held Monday at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home with requiem high mass at St. Clements Church with burial at Preston RC cemetery. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 28 Jan 1955 pg 7
