  SPALDING, Kathleen (Kitty) Passed away peacefully from this life, with her family by her side, on Monday, June 8, 1998, at St. Lukes Place, Cambridge, in her 85th year. In all her roles, be it wife, mother, sister, grandmother or friend, Kitty lived her life with a graciousness that everyone admired. Beloved wife of the late George W. Spalding. Dear mother of Don, Fran McCullough, Margo (Mrs. Tom Jenks), Bette (Mrs. Michel Simard) and Susan (Mrs. Dan Morrison), all of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four brothers, John, Frederick and Norman, all of Cambridge and Bertrum of Point Edward and three sisters, Helen (Mrs. George Heit) of Deltone, Fla., Isabella (Mrs. James Silver) and Mrs. Lillian Fyfe, both of Cambridge and her St. Luke's family. Predeceased by her parents, Harold and Martha Jardine and one sister, Mildred. Kitty was born in Hespeler and resided in the area all her life. She was a member of St. Clement's Parish and the CWL. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, tonignt (Tuesday) from 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 10, 1998, at St. Clement's RC Church, 450 Duke St., Cambridge at 10 a.m. Private interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge. The parish prayers will be recited at the funeral home tonight (Tuesday) at 8: 30 p.m. The Record Newspaper 9 Jun 1998 pg B4
