  FUHRY, JACOB At Morriston, on the 21st February 1883, aged 42 years. Late of Guelph. The funeral will take place Friday at 10. Friends and acquaintances will please accept this notice. -Information from the death certificate; Innkeeper. -Information from Our Germans Were Linked Through Puslinch Township by Chris Bowman and B. & B. Woolsey: Son of Jacob Fuhry (b. 1799) of Hesse-Darmstadt, possibly Mosbach, and his wife, Catharine Ochs (1802-1870) who settled in Preston and then came to Puslinch Township. His father, Jacob, ran hotels in both Morriston and Guelph. Jacob, who married Fanny McGinnis, ran the hotel after him.
