In Toronto, on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 1972, age 29 years, Carol Ann Barnes of 51 Braemar Ave., Toronto and formerly of Preston; a member of St. Clements RC Church, Preston and daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. C. Gordon Powers; surviving is her step-mother, Mrs. Albina Powers of Preston; her husband James Barnes of Toronto; one brother, John Powers of Preston; three sisters, Colleen (Mrs. Denis Edissi) and Mary-Jane Powers, both of Kitchener, Elaine (Mrs. Gerald Conway) of Preston. Resting at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton St., Kitchener, for parish rosary on Thursday, at 8: 45 p.m. Prayers will be offered on Friday, at 10: 30 a.m., followed by funeral mass at St. Clements RC Church, Preston, at 11: 30 a.m. Rev. V. M. Shea officiating. Interment St. Clements RC cemetery, Preston.
