      Following a brief illness, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Sunday, Oct. 2, 1988, in her 63rd year, beloved wife of the late Dr. C.G. Powers. Dear mother of John G. Powers of Cambridge, Colleen Edissi of Kitchener, MaryJane Powers of Kitchener and Elaine and her husband Wayne Woods of Sutton; dear grandmother of Clark, Brian and Paul Edissi, Sean, Nicole and Krisli Woods and Jae C. Powers. Survived by brothers, Steven Stando of Hawethorne, N.J., John Petrinka of Cambridge, Adam Patrinka of Kitchener and Sigmund Petrinka of Cambridge; dear companion Edward MacDonald of Cambridge and many special friends. Mrs. Powers was predeceased by her daughter, Carol Ann and her parents, Michael and Anielia Petrinka; brothers, Peter Petrinka, Fred Stando and one sister, Mary Zeldon. Visitation will be at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge (Preston), on Tuesday from 7.9 p.m., Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The rosary will be said at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7: 30 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. Clements RC Church, 745 Duke St. at Westminster Drive. Cambridge (Preston) on Thursday at 10 a.m., with Rev. V. M. Shea officiating. Private interment.
