      Quietly slipped away to be with his Lord on Tuesday, December 13, 2005, at Marian Residence, Cambridge, at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by his wife, Kathleen (nee Baron); parents, Charles McGrath and Mary McTearnen; brother, Bernard McGrath and sister, Bernadette McDermott, Survived by brothers, Joe McGrath (Peg) of Cambridge and James McGrath of Southampton. Chuck will be sadly missed by aunt Loretta Osborne and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. Chuck was an H.L.I. Veteran of the Second World War, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Preston Branch 126, Preston/Hespeler Probus Club, Preston/Hespeler Knights of Columbus a very active member of St. Clement's RC Church where you could hear him sing in the Resurrection Choir. Chuck had a passion for music and singing, his wonderful voice will be missed by all who have heard him sing. He was retired from the L.C.B.O. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's RC Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge on Saturday, December 17, 2005, at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Brantford. Parish prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Friday at 4: 00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Clement's RC Church Building Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family. Tributes may be made online at www.mem.com. Special thanks to Jayne for looking after our uncle. You were like a daughter to him and were his guardian angel. Thanks to the sisters, staff and nurses at Marian Residence for taking extra special care of Chuck. Special thanks to Pat Murphy for all the extra care you provided for Chuck when he was in need.
