  WOJCIK, Edward John Passed away peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Friday, Nov. 5, 1999, in his 79th year. Beloved brother of Charlotte Hushley of Cambridge and Jean Liscki of Michigan. He will be especially missed by his nieces, Debbie, Brenda and her husband Frank, Diane and her son Jeff. Also his godchild, Carl and many nieces and nephews in Michigan. Survived by his sister-in-law, Laura and brother-in-law, Johnny. Predeceased by his parents, Karol and Alexandria Wojcik; brother, William; sisters, Helen and Louise; best friends and brothers-in-law, Peter, Smitty and Steve and two special canine friends, Patches and Toby. Edward was born on September 1, 1921 in Preston and has been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a member of St. Clement's RC Church; a former member of the Preston Legion Band and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Preston Branch 126. He was a Veteran of the Second World War and was retired from Clare Brothers. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Qucenston Road, Cambridge this evening (Saturday) from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's RC Church, 745 Duke St., cambridge on Monday, Nov. 8, 1999 at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Clement's Cemetery, Cambridge.
