  JOSEPH C. PLENS A funeral for Joseph C. Plens, 509 Rose St., will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church. Mr. Piens, 76; died yesterday in Cambridge Memorial Hospital as a result of a car accident He was born in Poland and .came to Cambridge in 1929. He owned and operated Plens' Shoe Store in Preston. He was a member of St. Clement's Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Katherine Hartzman; one son, Joseph Jr. of Mississauga ; one daughter, Mary Ann (Mrs. Gordon) Jenkins of Cambridge; one brother, Plens of Hamilton; two sisters in Poland; and four grandchildren. Friends will be received at Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., tomorrow .and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from .7 to 9 p.m. The parish rosary will be given at 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Interment is to take place at St. Clement's Cemetery.
