1920 - 2013 Our beautiful and fun loving mother, M. Catherine "KAY" Beechey (nee George) passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2013, in her 94th year after suffering a stroke. She was born February 15, 1920 in Galt, Ontario. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Roy, in 2003. She is profoundly missed by her sons Peter and Roy, their wives Laurel and Valerie; her four grandchildren, Kari, Kate (Peter), Cameron, and Cory (Danielle), and five great-grandchildren. Kay was a member of the Tillsonburg Lawn Bowling Club, the Tillsonburg Curling Club, the ladies' night five pin bowling league, and the Ladies auxiliary of TDMH. Kay was a longtime supporter of figure skating and minor hockey in Tillsonburg. She was most proud of her seventy-five year membership in the Catholic Women's League. Loved by all who knew her, she will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. We would like to extend a very special thank-you for the excellent care and attention given to Kay, especially in her final days by the staff of Maple Manor.
