  • Notes
    • Mrs. Ed. Kabel

The death took place in Toledo, Ohio, last week of Mrs. Ed. Kabel and the funeral cortege came here last Saturday from Toledo to Lingelbach's. Church for service and interment in Lingelbach's cemetery. Rev. Mr. Shuester, of Toledo, assisted by Rev. S. R. Knechtel, of Kitchener, and the resident pastor, Rev. W. Durst, conducted the funeral services. Many relatives from New Hamburg and surrounding district attended the last sad rites and a profusion of floral tributes were sent by sympathizing friends.

The late Mrs. Kabel, whose maiden name was Sarah Lingelbach, was born near the Lingelbach church and spent her girlhood days in this neighborhood where she was highly esteemed. After her marriage she went to Toledo but later also resided in Kitchener when Mr. Kabel was general manager of the Dominion Tire factory. She leaves many relatives and friends in this district who deeply regret her passing.
