      Died Sunday, April 1, 2012, just six weeks away from her 100th birthday.

      She is survived by her daughter Judi and her husband Pat Langford, her granddaughters Robin and Rebecca, her great-granddaughter Michaela (the light of her last 8 months and the only one who truly understood every word that her GG said), her sisters Mary and Emily, her brother Verne and her many nieces and nephews.

      She was predeceased by her husband Doug, her sister Anne and her brothers Albert, William, and Charles.

      Rose was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Alton and a long time member of Holy Family Church, New Hamburg.

      She loved life, but the loves of her life were her grandchildren.

      The funeral was held at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 329 Huron St., New Hamburg with Fr. James Malone presiding.

      Donations can be made to the Jackson and Carter Stoneman Autistic Therapy Fund, or the Holy Family Church Building Fund.
