    • We regret to report that Mr. George Racho was suddenly stricken with paralysis at Riverside cemetery last Sunday, while attending the funeral of his father-in-law, the late Bernhard Eichler. He was immediately removed to his home and medical aid summoned. It was found that his left side was completely paralyzed and his condition is serious. So far no change for the better has occurred in his condition.

      George Racho

The death occurred here early on Sunday morning, October 2nd, of Mr. George Racho, at the age of 68 years, 3 months and 29 days. The deceased was striken with paralysis over 14 years ago at the graveside at the funeral of his father-in-law, the late Bernard Eichler, and had since been disabled, though he could get about on crutches. Another stroke during the night caused his death.

The deceased was born in Perth County near Kinkora, a son of the late John Racho, and came to New Hamburg with his parents in his boyhood days. He had resided here ever since.

The deceased was of the Lutheran faith. He was married to Elizabeth Eichler, of this town, who survive him besides two sons, Kenneth and Walter, at home, besides two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Eichler, of New Hamburg, and Mrs. Sophia Merner, of Chicago.

The fnueral was held on Tuesday afternoon with a private service at the home and a 'public service in Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. H. R. Mosig was in charge of the services which were attended by many sympathizing relatives and friends. Interment took place in Riverside Cemetery.
