- DEATH OF FREDERICK GERSTER
The death took place Friday afternoon of Frederick Gerster after only one week's illness. The cause of his death was pneumonia. He was a woodworker by trade, and was employed at the C. O. & S. F. Co. for over 25 years. About three years ago he lost one of his hands while operating a machine in the making of ammunition boxes. He recovered from this accident and was in good health until he took ill again a week ago. He was a good citizen, straight forward and honest in all his dealings and was well thought of by all with whom he came in contact. He was in his 73rd year, being born October 27, 1847. A wife, one son, and four daughters survive. John in Sac Pero, California. Mrs. W. Eby and Mrs. Allan Kinder, Preston, Mrs. Minnie Fleischman. Stratford, and Mrs. Clarence Spaulding. Hamilton.
