    • DEATH OF WILLIAM ZIMMERMAN.

      After suffering for over seven months as the result of an accident sustained last Dominion Day. Mr. William Zimmerman, Cedar-st.. died on Sunday afternoon, aged 67 years, 5 months and 19 days.

      The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock to St. Peter's church and the East End Cemetery. In the latter part of June. 1901, Mr. Zimmerman fell 16 feet, while engaged in mason work, on July 1st, while helping a brother pitch hay, he had his foot pierced with the prong of a hay fork. He was taken to the Berlin-Waterloo hospital where the poisoned member was successfully amputated. After being at the hospital for eleven weeks he was able to go home. After three weeks, the trouble appeared in the other leg. and this gradually weakened Mr. Zimmerman, and caused his death.

      He was a member of Federal Union No. 17, and his comrades have done nobly by their afflicted brother by their acts of substantial assistance during his long illness.

      MR. R. PINKE paid over $71 to Mrs. W Zimmerman Feb. 19, the full amount of insurance on the life of her late husband, in St. Peter's church society. At Mr. Zimmer's funeral took place only yesterday this is commendable promptness.
