• Notes

  Henry Witmer, "the fifth son of Abraham and Anna (Eversole) Witmer, was married to Esther Miller. They resided on a farm near old Absalom Snyder's place not far from Kossuth. They are both dead. No issue." In 1851 Henry and wife Esther lived in Waterloo Township a Hannah Witmer aged 11 and a Henry Shoemaker aged 10. Eby, Ezra E. (1895).
