  MRS. LORENTZ, 72, IS TAKEN BY DEATH Mrs. Christine Lorentz, 72 passed away shortly afternoon Tuesday from her home at 107 First street, after an illness which kept her confined to her bed and a great sufferer since early in July. Christine Blerchback was born in Kitchener, Ontario, June 9. 1862, and was married there Jan. 16, 1883, to Ferdinand Lorentz, who preceded her in death 17 years ago. They came to Mt. Pleasant in 1885 and a year later to Ludington. Nearly all of those 48 years she had lived in her present home in the Fourth ward. Of late years Mrs. Lorentz had spent the winters with her daughter, Mrs. Fred Johnsonor Milwaukee, coming back always in the spring to look after her beloved flower garden and take ap her accustomed activities and sharing the home with her son Ludington Daily News - Sep 5. 1934 Br
