Eby, Ezra E. (1895). Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.].

      ____________________

The Hespeler correspondent of the Galt Reporter says: Mr. and Mrs. Elias Witmer on Saturday celebrated what few are spared to celebrate - the sixtieth anniversary of their wedding day, which occurred on Jul 27th, 1841. The ceremony took place two miles above Preston on the farm which is now occupied by John D Newstead and was performed by Bishop Benjamin Eby, who in the days of long ago, told the "old, old story", in the Mennonite church at Berlin. Both the bride and the groom are now in their 82nd year and are hale and hearty.
