    • Elizabeth Ziegler School: "The same bricks built the house at 129 John St West. My brother Paul Beam, EZ alumni, bought the house from Jake Klaehn. Jake, a Prof Eng, was on the City of Waterloo School Board. He knew that institutional specs were higher than domestic bricks. Just about to build a new house on John West, Mr Klaehn order enough for 129 John from the same batch. "
