  Mrs. A.L. Knechtel - Mrs. Alexander L. Knechtel of 48 Government Rd., Toronto, died Tuesday at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Toronto. She was 69. Mrs. Knechtel, born in Kitchener, was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abram Miller. She lived in Toronto for 20 years and formerly resided in Kitchener. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Toronto, and formerly a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Kitchener for many years. Besides her husband, she is survived by two brothers, Albert E. and Edgar C., both of Kitchener, and a sister, Mrs. Bruce (Clara) Green of Lavonia, Mich. She was predeceased by a sister, Matilda. The body will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home after noon Thursday where Rev. Dr. H.W. Opperman will conduct the funeral at 2 pm, Friday. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
