Notes - Gallant, Mrs. Sylvain (Marie) - At St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Thursday, July 29, 1976, aged 48 years, Marie Hopf, of 86 Cedar St. S., Kitchener. A member of St. Joseph's RC Church. Daughter of the late Anthony Hopf. Surviving is her mother, the former Magdalena Erb of New Hamburg; her husband Sylvain; five sons, Sylvain Jr., Philip, Robert, John and Michael, two daughters, Debra and Linda, all of Kitchener; three brothers, Hartford of England and Robert and Gerald, both of Kitchener; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Steinke and Emily both of Kitchener, and Ruth (Mrs. Clarence Ritter) of Floradale. Also survived by two grandchildren, Cheryl and David. Predeceased by two sisters, Cecilia and Loretta. Resting at the Schreiter-Sandrock funeral Home, 51 Benton St., Kitchener, for parish rosary Friday at 8 pm. Prayers were offered at the funeral home, on Saturday, July 31, at 9: 30 am, followed by funeral mass at St. Joseph's RC Church at 10 am, Rev. H. B. Smith officiating. Interment to follow in Memorial Gardens, Kitchener.
