  HOPF. Mrs. Anthony (Magdalena) - At Nithview Nursing Home, New Hamburg, on Monday, April 18, 1983, following a brief illness, Magdalena Erb, aged 84 years, of Nithview Nursing Home. Mrs. Hopf was a member of Bethany Missionary Church. Beloved wife of the late Anthony Hopf; dear mother of Harford (Sonny) of England, Gerald of Kitchener, Ruth (Mrs. Clarence Ritter) of Floradale, Mrs Marion Emily Young of Kitchener; sister of Mrs. Harriet Norman of New Hamburg. Twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by her parents; one daughter, Marie Gallant; one grandson, Joseph Gallant; one brother and five sisters. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after Wednesday, 2 p.m. Funeral and committal service in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m., with Rev. John Hamilton officiating. Interment Memory Gardens. Memorial donations to the Arthritis Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association gratefully acknowledged.
