- GEIL, Mrs. Mary Rosetta (Rose) - At St. Mary's Hospital, Thursday, October 12, 1978, Mary Rosetta (Rose) Durst, aged 81 years, of 133 McGregor Cres., Waterloo. Mrs. Geil was born in Colborne Township, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Durst. She was a retired elementary school teacher and a member of Alsfeldt United Church. Since living in Waterloo, Mrs. Geil attended Emmanuel United Church in Kitchener. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward G. Geil in 1970; mother of Ralph of Huntsville, Emerson of Waterloo, Mrs. Frank (Doris) Zurbrigg of Listowel, Mrs. George (Mildred) Caldwell of Baton Rouge, LA, Mrs. David (Shirley) Howes of Harriston. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren. Predeceased by seven brothers and three sisters. Resting at the Edward R. Good funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, where the family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home Saturday at 4 pm with Rev. W. g. Wilkinson officiating. A committal service will be held at Alsfeldt United Church Cemetery on Sunday at 2: 30, followed by memorial service at Alsfeldt United Church at 3 pm. Rev. Robert Williams officiating.
