- Edward Oppertshauser - Edward Oppertshauser, 80, of 107 Earl St., died at his home today as a result of a heart attack. A native of Hanover, son of the late Conrad Oppertshauser and Elizabeth Lippert, he came to Kitchener 25 years ago. Until retirement he had been a machinist with Murawsky furniture, Mr. Oppertshauser was a member of Benton Street Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Abbigail Leah Weber; one son, Homer of Kitchener; one daughter, Mrs. W. Bruce (Noreen) Easton of Welland; and one brother, Algin, of Detroit. Two grandchildren also survive. The body is at the Schreiter Sandrock Funeral Home pending burial arrangements.
