  Rickert, Mrs. Emma (Lloyd) - At Fairview Mennonite Home, on Wednesday, June 12, 1985, following a brief illness, Emma Gascho, age 89 years, of 799 Concession Rd., Cambridge. Mrs. Rickert was a member of Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church and the friendly circle of the church. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Rickert, who predeceased her in 1981; dear mother of Willard and his wife Edith of Cambridge (H) and Marie (Mrs. Robert Pinnell) of Kitchener; sister of Barbara (Mrs. Allen Litwiller) of Waterloo, Irene (Mrs. Lorne Roth) of Gadshill and Fannie (Mrs. David Ropp) of Tavistock. Seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by her parents; one son, Leonard, in 1947; two brothers, Herbert and Aaron and two sisters, Nancy and Edna. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 2 pm Friday. Funeral and committal service in the Ratz-Bechtel chapel on Saturday, 2: 30 pm, with Rev. Mary Mae Schwartzentruber officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Unidentified Newspaper Obituary __________________ Rickert - Emma, daughter of David and Barbara (Lichti) Gascho, was born at Baden, Ont, Dec 12, 1895; died at Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge, Ont, June 11, 1985, aged 89 y. On Jan. 14, 1919, she was married to Lloyd Rickert, who died on Dec. 10, 1981. Surviving are 2 sons (Leonard and Willard) and one daughter (Helen). She was a member of Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church. Funeral services were held at Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home on June 15, in charge of Mary Mae Schwartzentruber; interment in St Agatha Mennonite Cemetery [buried in Woodland] Gospel Herald 17 Sep 1985
