  J. Robert (Bob) Zarnke 1924 - 2008 Passed away at St. Mary's General Hospital, on Saturday, March 22, 2008, at age 84. Beloved husband of the late Elsie Zarnke; loved father of Robert and Gill, Jim and Wendy, David and Ruth Ann, Beth and Ed, Brian and Doreen, and daughter-in-law, Barb; loving grandpa of Tracey and Luke, Tyler and Jessica, Jeremy and Melissa, Jason and Jennifer, Kimberly and Tim, Andrew, Michelle, Laura, Alyssa, Steven and Lisa, and Kyla and Dean; great-grandpa of Rachael, Isaac, Jessica, Jonathan, Jocelyn, Tayla, Cole, Andrew, and Kate; dear brother of Eileen, Carl, and Carolyn. Predeceased by sisters, Kathleen and Ruth. Friends are invited to share their memories of Bob with his family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo this evening (Tuesday) from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral Service to celebrate Bob's life and faith will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Mount Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 29 Westmount Rd. S., Waterloo, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Judi Harris officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the fellowship hall. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
