  Merklinger, George - At Stratford General Hospital, on April 2, 1986, George Merklinger, of 82 Hendershott St., Tavistock, age 64 years. Beloved husband of Geoline Herman; dear father of George of Grande Prairie, Alta., and Mrs. Michael (Rosemary) Fidler of Woodstock; dear brother of David of Woodstock, Eugene of Waterloo, Mrs. Ida Thaler of Gallipolis, Ohio, Elizabeth Merklinger and Mrs. Clarence (Frances) Neeb, both of Tavistock. Predeceased by his parents, John Merklinger and the former Henrietta Henkell; six brothers and one sister. There will be no funeral home visitation. Funeral service will be held in Trinity Lutheran Parish Centre on Friday at 2: 30 pm. Cremation with interment in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
