- Emil Stroh - by Record Correspondent - Wellesley, Feb. 17 - Emil Stroh, 80, a dairyman here for the past 15 years, died at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, last night from the effects of a stroke he suffered two weeks ago. He was born May 22, 1884, at Williamsburg, Ont., a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Yost Stroh. In 1920 he married Miss Tena Merlau, who survives. He was a member of St. Paul's Canadian Lutheran Church, Wellesley. Besides his wife, survivors include three sons, and two daughters, Harry and Albert at home and LAC Mervin, overseas, Maria and Norma at home; two brothers, Nelson and Allen of Kitchener; two step-brothers, Walter of Toronto and Albert of Saskatchewan; three step-daughters, Mrs. B. Burrows and Mrs. N. Burrows, both of Royal Oak, Mich., and Mrs. C. Evans, Detroit. A private funeral service will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
