  Mrs. Ervin Bartscher - A resident of Kitchener for the past 38 years, Mrs. Ervin Bartscher, 57, of 142 Becker St., died Sunday in K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in England March 26, 1903, she was a daughter of William Jackson of Kitchener and the late Mrs. Jackson. She was the former Irene Jackson. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran church and was active in the Women's Guild of the church and the Scout mothers. Survivors include her husband and her father; two sons, Laurence of New York City, Dennis of Kitchener, three brothers, James and Albert of Stratford, Harry of Toronto; and three sisters, Mrs. Jack Miller of Stratford, Mrs. Walter Monk of Kitchener, Mrs. John Gill of Royal Oak, Mich. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until Wednesday noon when removal will be made to the church for the funeral service at 3 pm. Rev. L. E.
