- Mrs. Eva Lemanski - A native of Poland who came to Canada 71 years ago, Mrs. Eva Lemanski, 96, of 223 Victoria St. South, died yesterday at her home. She was a member of Sacred Heart RC Church. She married the late Ignatz Lemanski 75 years ago in Poland. He died in 1934. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Stella Bilitzki and Mrs. Lawrence (Mary) Simon, both of Kitchener; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Five sons predeceased Mrs. Lemanski. The body is at the Gruhn Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited Sunday at 8 pm. The funeral will be held Monday with prayers at the funeral home at 8: 30 am and requiem high mass at Sacred Heart Church at 9 am, Rev. James Casey will officiate and burial will be at Mount Hope RC Cemetery.
