  Schmitt, Joseph Alexander - Passed away suddenly, on Thursday, March 2, 1995, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Joe Schmitt, of Kitchener, in his 63rd year. Loving husband and best friend of Marjorie (Ellis). Dear son of Frances Schmitt of Kitchener and the late Albert Schmitt. Dear father of Michael and his wife Deborah of Kitchener, Daniel and his wife Glenda of Madrid, Spain and step-father of Debbie and her husband Jeff Baer of Plattsville, Jim Wilgress and his wife Wanda of Shakespeare, Don Wilgress and his wife Sue of New Hamburg and Barry Wilgress of Kitchener. Special grandfather to Kateland, Natalie and David, Matthew, Trevor and Ashley, Jaime and Samantha, Amanda and Katlyn and Jeremy. Survived by his brother, Michael and his wife Barbara of Calgary, Audrey and her husband Brian Bunting of St. Catharines, Mary and her husband Ted Braun of Kitchener and Margaret Schmitt of Erbsville. Joe was a dedicated employee of Uniroyal for over 42 years, a member of the Army and Navy Club, Kitchener and enjoyed life to its fullest. Relatives and friends may call at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S. (at Westmount Rd.), Kitchener today (Saturday) 7-9 pm and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Monday, March 6, 1995 at 1 pm, Father Jerome Kroetsch officiating.
