  Katherine passed away peacefully at Halton Regional Health Centre in Milton, Ontario on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at the age of 81. Predeceased by her husband Raymond (2003). Mother of Cathy and husband John Matthews of Mississauga, Raymond Jr. and wife Pia of Milton, and Michael and wife Cindy of Chatsworth. Grandmother of Sarah Matthews and Bryan Wilhelm. Sister of George and wife Marilyn Genzinger. Also predeceased by her parents, Frank and Katherine Genzinger, sisters Barbara and husband John Millard and Elizabeth and husband Gord Beatty. Visitation was held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467, on Friday, July 30, 2010 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers were held Friday at 8:45 p.m. Prayers were also offered at the funeral home on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 9:20 a.m. followed by the procession to St. Aloysius R.C. Church (11 Traynor Ave., Kitchener) for Katherine's funeral mass at 10 a.m. She was interred in Woodland Cemetery. Following the burial a reception was held at the church hall.
