  GOODWIN, Bert William On Sunday, February 7, 2010 at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Bert Goodwin age 84 years of Elmira. Beloved husband of the late Frances (Wooley) Goodwin (2003). Dear father of Joanne and John Grinwis of Guelph, Dan Goodwin of Fergus, Kathy Forwell of Elmira, Richard and Laurie Goodwin of Aurora, Brenda Chambers and Joe Pascall of Utterson. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Derrick (Amy), Lesley (Rod Bauman), Melanie (Kevin), Michael, Eric, Quinn and Kate and by his great-grandchildren Justyss, Sara and Zack. Brother of Jim and Marlyn, Gerald and Terry, Larry, John and Terry and brother-in-law of Verna Wooley. Predeceased by his parents William and Hilda (Moeser) Goodwin, his siblings Kathleen, Herb (Doris), Reta Bittorf (John), Elsie Henderson (Ken), Jean Regier, Russel (Marion), sons-in-law Murray Forwell and Kevin Chambers. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, February 11, at 11 a.m. with The Rev. Dr. Linda J. Bell officiating followed by interment in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Elmira. In Bert's memory, donations to the Goodwin Family Bursary Fund at EDSS or the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. The Glenrose Lodge #628, Elmira, will assemble for a memorial service at the funeral home on Wednesday at 6:45 p.m.
