- George E. Coyne - George E. Coyne, Jr., 24, of 27 Shantz Lane died Tuesday at t. Mary's Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Kitchener Nov. 9, 1940, he was a son of Mrs. George E. Coyne of Kitchener and the late George E. Coyne. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and participated in the Scout movement in the church. He was employed with Nelco Ltd. for eight years. Illness forced his retirement in January 1965. He was also a member of the Independent Order of Foresters. Surviving are his wife, the former Audrey Ruch whom he married in Waterloo Oct. 20, 1962; one daughter, Robin Lynn, his mother and one sister, Mrs. Walter (Judith) Brewer of Kingston. The body is at Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until noon Friday when removal will be made to St. John's Lutheran Church for service at 3 pm, Rev. A.L. Conrad will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Donations to the building fund of St. John's Lutheran Church or the Canadian Cancer Society will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.
