    • Death Of Former Resident

      The death occurred at the Seaforth Hospital on Saturday, Feb. 7, of Mrs. Stewart, wife of Mr. Harry Stewart of Egmondsville, in her 46th year. She had been ill only a week.

      Mrs. Stewart resided in New Hamburg for several years, about 12 years ago, when her husband conducted the Massey-Harris implement agency here. They moved from here to Egmondsville about ten years ago.

      Formerly Flora Ann McKay, the deceased was born in Tuckersmith Tp. , in 1896. She was married in 1917 to Harry Stewart and was a member of the Egmondville United Church and of the Rebekah Lodge.

      Besides her husband, three daughters, two brothers and a sister survive.

      The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon with service in the Egmondsville United Church and interment in Maitlandbank Cemetery. Rev. A. W. Gardner conducted the funeral service.
