    • Gordon E. Daub - By Record Correspondent - New Hamburg - Gordon E. Daub, 70, of RR 1, New Hamburg, died suddenly Thursday at the K-W Hospital after a heart attack. He was born in Waterloo Township Nov. 4, 1896, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Martin Daub. He had farmed in North Easthope Township for more than 50 years. He was a member of the Oetzel's Evangelical United Brethren Church, of the Bandmasters' Association and was the former director of the North Easthope and Tavistock bands. Surviving are his wife, the former Alma Hepler; and two sisters, Mrs. Melvin (Pearletta) Paff of Gadshill and Mrs. William (Myrtle) Burrell of Toronto. He was predeceased by one sister. The body will be at the Bruce J. Omand Funeral Home, New Hamburg, until noon Monday when removal will be made to Oetzel's EUB church for the funeral at 2: 30 pm, conducted by Rev. Len Snyder. Burial will in in the church cemetery.
