- DUBRICK, Rev. Marvin - On Wednesday, January 12, 1977 as the result of a car accident, aged 41 years.
Rev. Dubrick, born in Kitchener, and a resident of Port Elgin, ordained into the ministry at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Kitchener, 1962. Served as pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, Arnprior, from 1962 until 1966, was assistant pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church; Waterloo, from 1966 until 1971, then serviced as pastor of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Chesley, 1971 until 1976. In the fall of 1976 he formed a mission church in Port Elgin.
Son of Gordon Dubrick, and the former Velma Barber of Kitchener; husband of Helen Henkelman; father of Joel and Elayne, all of Port Elgin; brother of Gerald and Jane, both of Waterloo.
Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton St., Kitchener, after noon on Friday, until noon on Saturday, when removal will be made to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church for committal services at 1 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the church at 2 p.m. Dr. O. S. Reble DD., president of the Eastern Canada Synod of the Lutheran Church of America, officiating. Spring interment will take place at St. Peter's Lutheran cemetery.
