  Knechtel, Harold Lloyd - Suddenly, at his residence, on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 1993. Harold Knechtel, of Kitchener, age 69 years. Harold was a longtime employee of Uniroyal Ltd. for over 40 years before retirement. Beloved husband of Shirley (Brooks), father of Gary Knechtel, Randy Brooks and his wife Marilyn; brother of Lorraine Rapake, Shirley and her husband Frank Fixter, all of Kitchener. Sadly missed by seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry Knechtel and the former Genevieve Schneider; a son, Roger Brooks and a brother in infancy. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, this evening (Thursday) from 6-9 pm and on Friday from 10 am until the time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 am with Rev.
