  McCarley, James E. "Jim" - At St. Mary's Hospital, on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 1990, following a brief illness, Jim McCarley, of Homewood Avenue, Kitchener, age 82 years. Jim was a longtime employee of J.M. Schneider Inc., before retirement. He was a member of Schneider's Ex-Servicemen's Club, the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 530, Waterloo, and the Independent Order of Oddfellows, No. 184. Brother of Gilbert McCarley of Vista, Calif., Mrs. Evelyn Miller and Edna (Mrs. George Travelle) of Waterloo, Mrs. Isabelle Brighton of Kitchener. Also sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many other relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, William McCarley and the former Amelia Knechtel; his wife, Marie (Aljoe) on February 16, 1990; two brothers, Stuart and Harold. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, today (Thursday) from 7-9 pm. Funeral and committal services will be held in the chapel on Friday at 4 pm. Cremation.
