  Hummel, Hattie (Sammy) - Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at St. Mary's Hospital, on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 1991, Hattie Hummel, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Jerome Hummel (1986). Dearest mother of Ron and his wife Cecile, Lloyd and his wife Marge, Carol and her husband Fred Garner, Tom and his wife Pat and Dianne and her husband Jack O'Reilly. Loving grandmother to 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Alma and Marie, both of Michigan. The family will receive friends at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S. (at Westmount Rd.), Kitchener, on Wednesday (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Prayers will be offered on Thursday afternoon at 12: 30 pm with funeral mass to follow at 1 pm, from St. Francis of Assisi RC Church. Father Edwin Lapinski, CR, celebrant. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Vigil service to be held this evening (Wednesday) at 7 pm. As expressions of sympathy, memorial considerations may be made to St. Mary's Hospital Foundation.
