  JURCHUK, Peter Joseph - Passed away, peacefully, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Friday, October 10, 2008 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Mary "Tina' Jurchuk (2005). Adored and cherished father of Joanne (Carmen) Bailey of Galt, Richard (Sharon) of Drayton, Susan (Mike) Brazeau of Kitchener, Paul (Cathy) of Kitchener, Mary (Cole) Buding of Baden, and father-in-law, of Diane Jurchuk of Kitchener and close family friend of Ray Musgrave of Edmonton, Alberta. Grandpa will be missed by 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Fred Jurchuk (Gladys) of London and Anna Narapecka of Toronto. Predeceased by his son, Terrance (2002); parents, Gregory and Hedwig (nee Stadnik) Jurchuk; brothers, Stan and John and sister Helen Dahmer. Peter retired from Uniroyal after 45 years service. He was a veteran of the Second World War and was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 530 and the Waterloo Knights of Columbus Council 1530. Peter's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Knight of Columbus prayer service 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon. Prayers will be offered from the funeral home chapel at 10: 20 a.m. on Monday, October 13, 2008 followed by procession to St. John's R.C. Church (85 Strange St., Kitchener) for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Fr. Jim Boudreau officiating. Immediately following the funeral mass a reception will take place at the Henry Walser Funeral Home.
