  SGT. PILOT LEROY PLATE - Sgt. Pilot Leroy Edgar Plate, 234 Waterloo Street, Kitchener, died in a plane crash, Wednesday, near No. 1 Central Navigation School, Rivers, Manitoba. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Plate, Sgt. Plate was born in Kitchener 21 years ago. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Surviving are two brothers, Robert and Jack, at home. The remains are resting at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until 1 p.m. on Monday when removal will be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
