  Tschumi, Irene - Peacefully, at Freeport Hospital Health Care village on Thursday, June 23, 1994, Irene Tschumi, in her 81st year. Beloved daughter of the late Jacob and Jenette Knechtel. Dear mother of Miriam (Mrs. Kenneth Drury) of Orangeville and Morris and Nora Tschumi of Aurora; dear sister of Joseph and Dorothy Knechtel of Breslau, Olivia Cober of New Hamburg, Myra Motherall of Brantford. Survived also by step-brothers, Jacob and Albert and step-sisters, Esther Burkhardt, Ruth Glassford and Ella Fleming and sister-in-law, Nellie Knechtel, all of Kitchener. Mrs. Tschumi is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers, Clarence and Richard; step-brother, William and step-sister, Agnes. The family will receive friends at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S. (at Westmount Road), 743-8900, Kitchener, today (Friday), 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
