  LINWOOD-Oscar L. Lanz of 73 William St. S., Linwood died suddenly at his home Wednes- day. He was 79. Born in Mornington Township March 13, 1890, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Lanz and had operated a hardware store in Linwood for 20 years until his retirement in 1955. He was a member of St. Andrew's United Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Gertrude Lavery whom he married Nov. 16, 1935; two sisters, Mrs. Milton (Mabel) Glebe of Linwood and Addie of Kitchener. He was predeceased by one brother and three sisters. The body is at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira where Rev.
