Notes - Wood, Jean Elsie - At the Guelph General Hospital, on Thursday, February 26, 2004, in her 69th year. Jean Wood (nee Hillcoat) of Cambridge is the beloved wife of Walter Wood; dear mother of Wally and his wife Chris, Tom and his wife Vivian, both of Cambridge and Shelly and Ron of Kitchener; loved and devoted grandmother to Adam, Kaylee, Courtney, Amanda, Shelby and Tylor; dear sister of June and Lloyd Stockall of New Hamburg, George and Helena Hillcoat of Cambridge, Thomas and Ethel Hillcoat of Kitchener, Colleen and Duane Kleinschroth of Glen Allen and Robert and Deborah Hillcoat of Kitchener. Aunt Jean will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. The family, wish to thank the doctors and nurses of the Guelph General Hospital for their care and attention to Mrs. Wood and to the family. Friends will be received at Coutts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge on Saturday from 7-9 pm and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday at 11 am. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau. A reception will follow in Coutts Family Reception Centre. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital.
